The best barrels were selected and blended to produce an elegant wine that has great length, balance and intensity. Both the aroma and palate have savoury characters with notes of dark plum fruits, liquorice and spice.

The Reserve Shiraz was exclusively hand-harvested from a single block vineyard in March in the cool of the morning.

The 2017 vintage presented ideal ripening conditions of even temperatures and cool nights, and allowed for excellent flavours to develop.

Hand-picked, crushed, destemmed and fermented in open pots using a Rhone-strain yeast. Extended 15 day maceration. Matured for 20 months in premium French oak, this Shiraz will age gracefully over the next 10 years.
